Job Description

Ignite Glass Studios is looking to fill the position of “Event Sales Director”. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of selling and leadership experience, preferably in hospitality, have a record of great customer service, be motivated by incentive compensation, and show high attention to detail. The Event Sales Director be responsible for cultivating and leading the event sales team Manager(s).


Job Responsibilities

SALES – 75%

  • Leading outreach to potential corporate clients and target prospects using a mix of telephone calls, email, and other communication mediums
  • Managing and/or delegating all incoming sales from inquiry through to close of contract
  • Responding to all incoming event inquires including social, corporate, and nonprofit events

within 24 hours of submission

  • Schedule, and perform, all tours of the space at it relates to sales and events
  • Negotiate all venue rentals and event add-ons
  • Oversee, create and execute contracts for all confirmed events
  • Supervise and manage payment terms of all contracts and ensure deposits and remaining balances are met
  • Oversee updates of all event marketing packages
  • Assist in active collection of content for Social Media as it pertains to events
  • Work closely with operations to ensure all event/vendor details are executed
  • Bring new business to the space through personal and professional outreach
  • Attend at least 1 networking event per month
  • Ensure a sales presence at all community events (approximately 4x per year) and Open Houses



  • Supervision of event set up, including room configuration, audio visual assistance, handle opening and closing duties
  • Be an active point of contact for all attendees which includes greeting, check in/check out, answer questions, conduct tours, track walk-ins
